Who We Are?
Children of Adam is a US-based Tax Exempt 501(c)(3) non-profit organization (Federal Tax ID # 45-4397298) dedicated to raising a generation of empathic, compassionate youth who, guided by the knowledge of Islam, are motivated to make the world a better place.
Children of Adam was founded in March 2011 by Mufti Mohammad Farhan, Dr. Shaik Ali, and Dr. Syed Tariq Ibrahim. With various interests ranging from youth development, to health services to humanitarian work, the founders decided upon an organization that would work regionally to develop a generation of compassionate youth who, guided by Islamic values, would have a strong commitment to making the world a better place through humanitarian service.

To enlighten minds, engage hearts and empower hands through knowledge & research, holistic wellness, and humanitarian service driven by Islamic values.
As a strict policy, 100% of the Zakat received is distributed directly to the beneficiaries in the form of cash and non-cash benefits.

Children of Adam accepts and facilitates restricted and non-restricted donations by individuals, corporations and other profit and not for profit organizations.

We receive additional support & humanitarian engagement opportunities from our Global Operations team, comprised of:
Gul Ahmed, Afghanistan | Hafiz Zia, Afghanistan | Mujahid Ahmed, Bangladesh | Ahmad Qaradaghi, Iraq & Yemen | Shahzad Sadan, Pakistan.
By collaborating with other NGOs and organizations, we are able to expand our reach and make a greater impact in the communities we serve. In the US, we work with various local mosques and community centers, youth groups, and social, civil, welfare and interfaith organizations.
Internationally, we coordinate with such organizations as Access Aid Foundation (Yemen & Iraq), OBAT Helpers (Bangladesh), Hamdard Welfare Relief, Inc (Afghanistan), and Children of Adam (Pakistan) to offer local youth the opportunity to engage in humanitarian work and impact in the communities that need it most.
